ACS financial year
Following the intruduction of the GST and the adoption of the New Tax System by the Federal Executive, as well as the NSW, Victorian and Queensland branches, it was voted at a meeting on September 15, 2001 to adopt the Australian Financial Year. The final changeover for this occured on 30-June-2003
What is the ACS standard for displaying the Accreditation letters after one's name?
The letters "ACS" should be capitalised and placed one space after the Accredited Member's name with no periods between the letters. No comma between the name and the ACS letters. Should the member have other letters after his or her name these will be placed in order of receipt.
Our standard is that all letters of recognition shall be in two points smaller type than the name eg: (The name in 12 point type) Ted Rayment ACS (the letters in 10 point type).
Any 'state' based awards should appear prior to ACS accreditations, eg Butch Calderwood OAM ACS
